Thrive School Support Image 2Why Thrive School- a note from Clare:

Being a creative or social entrepreneur can be lonely. It can be daunting too. You can feel exposed, vulnerable. Your family and friends may think you have gone a bit mad. Plus you have so many dreams you feel you may burst. You long to make a difference but you are not sure how. You want to soak in the learning from others.

I wish I had Thrive School when I was staring out as a freelancer. I learned the slow way, through trial and error. It was my friends and a community of other entrepreneurs who helped to sustain me- without the community around me I may have given up a long time ago.

We need people around us who believe in us, push us, motivate us, inspire us. We need mentors, guidance and someone to bounce ideas off. We need connection. We need community. We need an income we can thrive on. We need place where we can share openly and honestly about our trails, challenges, hopes and possibilities. We need new skills and new ways of thinking about things. We need a clear vision and a map for how to get there.

Thrive School is about bringing all of that together, so that together we will make some great things happens.

Why Thrive with Clare:

your host

This programme has been bubbling in me for years, and I am delighted to now see it grow. After a successful programmes  in Dublin and Cork, Thrive School is now evolving

I’ll be drawing on my own 20 years of experience, as a creative and social entrepreneur, as an international documentary photographer, an author, yoga teacher and creative coach. I bring my network too- of leaders, thinkers, creatives, entrepreneurs and big hearted doers.

To the mix I also bring an unusual and valuable blend of disciplines and education- I have an MSc in International Education from Oxford University, a hatha yoga qualification and am a Social Entreprenuers Ireland awardee (You can read more about my journey here).

testimonial"For me, Clare's depth of knowledge surrounding creative entrepreneurship as well as her enthusiasm and commitment to students have been the most impressive aspects of Thrive School. Her methods for creating a vibrant space where participants identify, examine and problem-solve their own goals and challenges are complimented with pragmatic and timely advice. While this process often uncovers further questions as well as answers and solutions, what emerges is a lively and exciting journey towards the possibilities of the future - with the reminder that there's no time like the present to get started!"- Felix Power, Thrive School West Cork, Jan 2017. testimonial
