About Dr. Michael Kearney


Dr. Michael Kearney MD, has over 40 years of experience as a palliative care physician across the UK, Ireland, Canada, and North America. He trained under hospice pioneers Cicely Saunders and Balfour Mount and draws inspiration from Native American traditions and Mahayana Buddhism. Michael's books include "Mortally Wounded: Stories of Soul Pain, Death, and Healing" and "A Place of Healing: Working with Nature and Soul at the End of Life." His latest work, "Becoming Forest- A Story of Deep Belonging," explores nature's wisdom in combating climate despair. Michael is the founder of the Becoming Forest Project.
